Had a garage clear out yesterday which generated alot of rubbish! Hubby piled it all in the back of the car and toddled off to the local tip this morning...to find out it only opens on Saturday and Sunday. How silly is that? He then drove to Teignmouth hoping there was one there, if there is, he couldn't find it so had to drive to Newton Abbott. If Teignbridge has a problem with illegal tipping, I think I know why.

I dont think its silly at all. some time ago it opened once a month, for the size of Dawlish weekends is quite acceptable, we are luckier than some places

Fair point, it's just I'm used to having a local tip open 7 days a week, but the size of the town warranted that.
