The Halifax agency counter at financial advisers Willsworthy Alexander in Queen Street is due to close on July 31.
A spokesman for Halifax said: "The nearest Halifax branch is in Newton Abbot approximately 10 miles away.
"The group also has an arrangement with the Post Office, whereby its personal customers can use post offices to carry out essential banking transactions.
"In Dawlish, there is a post office within close proximity.
