If your looking to stay in a plush hotel I would advise you to stay at The Langstone Cliff Hotel

Hope you have a great time. Good places to eat are Smugglers inn at Holcombe - great carvery with local meats and other dishes and the old mill tearoom for cream teas with home made scones.
If you want to visit local attractions I recommend the museum, very cheap and great displays. The lawn area with the ducks and swans are always popular and the beach is nice, if you've got children it is worth walking round to Coryton Cove for a lovely sandy beach.
