According to the news on the home page of this website, it's going to be ages yet before the first sod gets cut at either Shutterton Lane or Ladys Mile.

Who will win the High Court battle? My heart says Sainsbury, my money says Tesco.

Either way, I can't wait until the victor is able to open it's doors for the first time.

i prefer sainsburys but feel the ladys mile site is better positioned for people. anybody that lives on the wimpy estate and are not as mobile as they once were will find it easier to go there than the extra stretch along the road with no footpath. no pitches will be lost as they will have a link road goin up to another field that is not used at present, is my understanding of the situation. roll on.

to prefer sainsburys is to be a snobbish fool. personally, i will continue to drive to tesco or asda at newton, Lidl at alphington for deli items, or Morrisons in Exeter...all these stores have quality produce at the best price if you are willing to look...Sainsbury's? you are obviously on a good state pension, that I will not be afforded, even though I made a greater contribution to the state....

you are sooooo wrong, no private pension, worked all my life, still do, and if you have time and fuel to waste driving all over the place, good on you

Fax me......yadda yadda yadda....this is the first time I have ever agreed with Fellover-699!!!!! Yes you have made a greater contribution to the state, more so than some, by the amount of ALCOHOL DUTY you have paid the the government! It's Saturday so I look forward to your contribution tomorrow when I get time to take a peek at the Forum and catch up on local issues for local people. Got to go have a viewing to attend - on the late shift today
