Thank you to those who have already emailed me regarding our campaign that has been christened:

"Save Our Black Swans"

This will be known as "SOBS" for short.

The campaign Task Force is very much at an embryonic stage and the small collective (presently there are 5 of us) that have decided to take on this challenge are busy forming an appropriate and achievable strategy.

We are hoping that, with the help of the local and regional press plus everyone reading this, the SOBS campaign will become a major community-led effort.

After all, the Black Swans are at the heart of our community, and without them we will lose our wonderfully unique selling point.
