Anyone from here going to the Police Meeting on Wednesday evening?
I hope so as it would be great to put a face to a name. You'll recognise me no problem, as I'll be the devilishly handsome one...
It's taking place at St Mary's Church Hall, Dawlish Warren starting at 6.30pm, see you there. :-)
As a casual observer of this site,
I have noticed Joey Deacon has returned.
Is there a reason for this?
I thought that once miscreants were exposed, they went under cover.
Miscreant? You'll be using the word malfeascence next.
I'll bid you a warm welcome to Dawlish Live - however for everyone's sake, I hope you don't intend to continue where you've started with your "first" post...
Are you going to be attending this meeting?
JD is asking,"Are you going to be attending this meeting?"
I think it is best left to the miscreant to go along and get a flavour of what goes on first hand.
Then he can report back here the reason why others justify their existence. After all, we need to get a new standard for transparency. When there appears to be transparency, look at it very closely.
It's shame that you're unwilling to attend this public meeting, Viaduct.
You're going to be missing democracy in action, public consultation and public debate that involves real people. Never mind, eh.
Anyways, I'm looking forward to it - is anyone else here going to be attending?
Democracy?! How about the real reason for this meeting.....PR fluff to fool and hoodwink the public, many who are unaware that discussions such as these are irrelevant as decisions have already been made and some acted upon, by the 'network', within which, the likes of Deacon operate.
Are you going to be attending the meeting Dullish?
P.S. The only 'network' I'm part of is the Wireless Local Area Network to which my laptop is connected. :-)
As JD is unlettered, I need to educate him a little. To put it a nutshell, my take on democracy is as follows-espeacially when it comes to DTC.
It starts and ends in the ballot box.
A very good question overlooked in the foregoing posts.
Answer (from the What's On section)
Police Meeting
A public meeting will be held at St Mary's Church Hall, Dawlish Warren on Wednesday, September 24th starting at 6.30pm.
The meeting will cover Issues raised by the public.
Date 24 September 08
Time 18:30
Location St Mary's Church Hall
Don
No doubt they will tell you Don, that they prosecuted X,Y,Z for serious offences and Mr fudge (sorry Judge) let them go again.
So now we will consentrate on the motorist who in the main will cough up £60 when we ask for it.
And if you argue with us, we will give you a FPN for anything that takes our fancy.
What has gone wrong with mouse? You posted on the 29 September 2008 that you would be going and the meeting was held on the 24 september 2008. What happened at the meeting then mouse or perhaps any of the others that may have attended could answer?

I can't tell you, I'm afraid. You need to be a member of my secret society in order to be privy to such information.... :-)
JD came back spitting nails, he wrote: I can't tell you, I'm afraid. You need to be a member of my secret society in order to be privy to such information.... :-)
That is about the truest thing he has said on this forum
So it would appear JD's transparency is as good as the DTC.
That's right Viaduct, I'm spitting nails. Grrrrrrr. I could crush a grape.
Do you want to join my secret society? We're always looking for new suckers members...
Deacon's been getting himself all tangled up in a web(master) of deceit for years...... That's what happens when you lick the derrière of the p-rot-he-roe
It's sycophants r us with their kind....lick lick....
More like wee in a pistle if you've had the misfortune to taste the protheroe food. Sub standard fare for sub standard cliental. Grease is the word apparently.........
More like the Most Unpleasant......
Hi Dullish.
It's Friday again, so I'm looking forward to seeing what imaginative user names you register as tonight.
Bottoms up, cheers, salut, etc, etc...
;-)
Deacon....you really must cease with projecting your booze obsession on others. Be a good boy and keep it to yourself and your drink sodden Dawlish Rotary/Roundtable cronies.
This is not Dullish which is as you may know a jibe at the many that live in and around Dawlish
Dull is really apt!
JD said he would guarantee that by the end of the day, others would be writing in colour, itallics and most other things that is possible in Word but not on this forum.
So come on JD let the cat out of the bag for all the Dullards that are eager to know.
I have seen no evidence, perhaps you could point me in the right direction so that I may ask those others how it is done.
No evidence of what? Of other people using their common sense to find out how to post using bold, italics, etc?
You call me "JD" (just like "someone else" on here), so where have you come from all of a sudden to be so interested as to how it's done?
I know you're probably under the delusion that I'm the webmaster and every other bugger that dares to present facts rather than conspiracy theories, however how it's done isn't rocket science.
