highhouse 13 east cliff road dawlish was a childrens home can any-one tell me if or what it is now. i was there about 1966-1969. thanks.

I remember high house being a childrens home and knew a lady who used to do the cooking there.
Its now a block of flats.

thanks for your reply, could you tell me the name of the cook as i might remember her if she was there when i was there. do you still live in dawlish, i was sad to hear the home was turned into flats as i want to visit the old place in the near future, as i have fond memories of dawlish. thanks again, alan.

The lady who used to do the cooking at high house was called
Mrs Martin she was known there for her home made rice pudding. I think she lived in Town Tree Hill she used to ride a blue bike.Iknew her when i was a child and we both
lived at Ashcombe.
