Anyone else experience problems trying to get a Doctors appointment?
On Friday they said don't ring for Monday as that is reserved!
Tuesday .. I phoned at 9.30 'oh too late fully booked'
Today Wednesday .. phoned at 8.40 'too late fully booked and 3 Doctors are on holiday'
I said 'I give up and will call in the Exeter NHS drop in'.

I had the same problem some months ago, but persisted and was then asked the question is it Urgent, I replied how would I know unless I see a Dr. Then drove to the surgery and found out that they keep a number of 10 minute appointments free and saw a Dr that day. Give it a try.

I found it difficult in the past, phoning on 888877 as early as 8.30am. The phone seemed permanently engaged.
I now use the 08450264418 number and never have a problem as long as you phone early.

Strange answer - I know there are people who waste Dr's time - but as I said before when they asked me ' Is it urgent ' my reply was I wont know until I see a DR.
