Dawlish Discussion

Can anyone tell me if the Dr Barnardos childrens home is still in Dawlish or if it is now something else (back in the 1950's it was a childrens home)..

hi, my grandad has lived in dawlish all his life. He says dr barnados children home is no longer in Dawlish it was during the war, it is now luscombe castle, i hope that helps,

Thank you very much for that information...I am coming down to visit my uncle at Barnstaple soon and was going to come and have a look at it to see if it had changed much lol

I will still be coming to Dawlish as I always loved it there
