Can I just say a big thankyou to the organisers of the carnival.

The Airshow was fantastic. Great weather.

Canival was great with a good band for all to watch on the lawn after. Makes a change from the steel Drum band. Actually felt like a carnival. I was proud to be a local yesterday!! Well done!

I was not able to make it down to Dawlish for the Carnival this year. Sounds as if it went well. I am coming down for a couple of days after the Bank Holiday and looking forward to seeing what has changed since my last visit.

I completely agree with the original poster on this thread - what a fantastic week that was!

A fitting tribute to 40 years of effort by so many hard working people. You are all heroes and you all deserve a well-earned rest. For a short while at least!
