All this talk about the mentally ill and not a word about the two patients at Langdon who have escaped?!

Aren't the police saying they are dangerous and shouldn't be approached if seen by the public.

Anyone any (sensible)news on this?

Escaped men captured in Cornwall
13:05 - 14-August-2008

TWO men who escaped from a secure mental health unit in Dawlish on Tuesday night have been found.

The disappearance of Jason Lord, 23 and Terry Powell, 35 from the medium secure Butler Clinic at Langdon Hospital sparked a duel county search by police for the two men.

They were found at 7pm on Wednesday night walking towards the Gwavas Estate near Newlyn in Cornwall.

A police spokesman said the two men were spotted by a member of the public and once identification was confirmed police officers arrested them.

Both men were passive during the arrest and after initially being detained in custody in Camborne they were transferred back to the Dawlish hospital.

Lord escaped with Powell,, aka Sticky O'Rourke, from the 'medium secure' Butler Clinic, at Langdon Hospital on Tuesday night.
Police say the pair climbed on to the hospital's roof, scaled a perimeter fence before walking out of an electrical gate, which was not working because of an electrical fault.
