How fantastic was that today?
Tens of thousands of people were in town and they all looked like they were enjoying themselves. Fantastic stuff.
I hope everyone here enjoyed themselves.
When I saw the original posting, I thought I wonder how long it will be beforr our 24/7 poster gets to his keyboard.
can't anyone have an opinion on here without accusations? time to revaluate your mind reading skills amazed. will you be one of the beered up multitude tonight?
Yes Dawlishman it was great and as you say everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves except maybe those miserable so and so's that seem to hog this website! What must they be like to live with!!
No way! Got out of Dawlish, sorry not my thing. Got back at 10pm streets full of people and food papers everywhere!
It was a great show, the Jordanians were probably the highlight for me, doing things with planes that should be impossible. Red Arrows always good and it's always exciting to watch displays by people who are absolute masters of their art. Well done to the organisers for all their hard work for such a good show, and the town was indeed chock-a-block. As someone earlier observed, the streets tonight are full of litter, but that's mostly locals having a good carnival night - and one of the good things about Teignmouth council is their organisation of the next morning clean-up (not that I wouldn't like to see it clean in the first place, but it's only once a year).
A result for the Carnival committee in my book.
air show was good missed part of it as stayed at home with my newborn, dont think she would of liked the noise too much. was it me or was there only 8 red arrows and not the usual 9? anyone know reason why?
MAYBE OUR VERY BRAVE AIRMEN JUST NEED THE FEW HOURS OF PRACTICE JUST IN CASE THE RUSSIANS DECIDE TO BE GREEDY AND MARCH INTO EUROPE YOU WOULDNT BE MOANING THEN WELL DONE BRIAN HEATH IM PROUD TO LIVE IN DAWLISH
It was a fabulous event, a real annual highlight. well done organisers! If people don't like this sort of thing they can ship out for the day... I say it's putting Dawlish on the map! Let's have more!
