Giving To Charity-maximise donations

When giving to charities, optimise the benefits of your donation by contributing directly to your chosen charity. This way, charities will gain the maximum amount from your philanthropy.

When you give money to the likes of Roundtable or Rotary, they 'cream off' up to 40 per cent through loopholes, which they call 'admin'. That's a lot of money NOT going where it should be.

Just as offensive, is the way Rotary and Roundtable shout loudly about how much money they have raised for charity....when the truth is, it is the public, not them, that have donated.

When collecting for charity, do it quietly and with dignity. Do not use it as a PR exercise.

GIVE TO CHARITIES DIRECTLY.

Set up a direct debit with your chosen Charities. Cut out the money-grabbing middle-man collectors.

I could not agree more!!!
But how many plonkers will still donate to the buckets of Rotary and Roundtable?
Some people will never learn.
They just as well go to the Mayor Protheroe (Rotarian) and give him the money directly for him to finance his property empire, because people who give now, have no idea where it is going, they only think they do.

Absolutely spot on. If only people put as much trust in those who wish to open their eyes. Seems to be a lot of ignorant people out there.

Carnival is almost upon us and Messrs Protheroe, Hockin, Dawson and Lloyd (Rotary/Roundtable) can't wait to get their grubby hands on 40 per-cent of the donation you give to charity. Make sure every penny you give to charity goes directly to that charity by donating directly, ensuring they get 100 per-cent and not 60 per-cent. Every little helps.

Before you put money in that bucket....ask questions!

Which charities are donations going to?

Why do Roundtable/Rotary 'cream off' up to 40 per cent for Admin?

Why are they set up as a charity, to collect for other charities?
