Does anyone known how I could contact Jim Hallsmith, who served in WW2 with my father Cameron Proctor from Ontario, Canada. I understand that during the war, Jim Hallsmith considered Dawlish his home town. Please contact if any information is known.

I've just found your message.
Unfortunately Jim passed away in January 2001.
He stayed in Holcombe until 2000 and then moved to a flat in Dawlish.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
We spoke alot about his time in the RAF as my father was also in the RAF and flew with a Canadian crew.
