Now here is a topic that I am sure everyone can get involved with.
And like other topics, there are bound to be mention of councillors, and why not? They are the ones usually behind many of the problems that we encounter every day of our lives.
From speeding to parking, to those that think they are drivers to those that know they are not, to those that should never have been given a licence (some people never learn and have not got the ability to progress from the time they were first given the piece of paper.)
I myself have witnessed real idiots in Dawlish who pay little regard to other peoples safety.
The Strand, Brunswick, Elmgrove Road are just a few places where idiots pay little or no regard for other road users.
When it is raining and puddles are formed on the road, many motorist will not slow down enough to stop pedestrians from getting splashed, I am sure many have been there?
Bad or inconsiderate parking and I do not mean parking where it is causing a problem to no one, but the council/councillors, think it is a good idea to extrapolate some more from your already stretched purse, so agree to put down the yellow peril.
Nuff said from me for the moment, but I am pretty sure this will turn into a lively debate.
How is it a row of cars can be parked in Queen Street near Costcutters on yellow lines. Is that alllowed during the day?
Wish the Strand was car free.
i think you will find that the yellow lines are not complete hence the reason people park there, the police have already stated to me that there is nothing they can do until Devon county council get their fingers out and complete them, until that happens it will just remain a free for all.
OK, this is interesting the Council have admitted that it is their fault so what are you going to about it, you people that call the council on every thread? Here is your chance as far as I see it. There must be a line that you can take. Over to you.
You will get very little movement out of the dumb coucillors.
It is self, self and self again first for the coucillors, there is no second place for the electorate.
There are pleased to get your vote, after that it is get out of my face.
Actually the fault lies with Devon county council as they are responsible for the roads in the county not Dawlish council, not that they would do anything if it was their responsibility.
What's the point in wasting precious hours of your life whinging on here? Life is too short, and let's face it you come across as someone nearer the grave than the cradle.
If you aren't willing to do actively something about it, then what's the point? Seriously, what is the point?
No. Miserablists like you only want to talk this country down with their tedious moans about everything.
Of course things aren't perfect, far from it, but wasting your life away on here whinging about it, is not going to change a thing.
Not. A. Single. Thing.
How many different people do you think actually read your messages? Half a dozen? Ten?
And replying to your own messages to make it appear that others agree with your whinges, only actually makes it appear as if you're a nutjob.
Feel free to criticise (I'm all for a revolution in this country), but if the criticism isn't constructive, then what's it going to achieve?
Get out there and do something about it! If not? Why not? It's because you're a pathetic keyboard warrior.
Thank you and goodnight.
Many people! That's why you've got your little panic on.....you're frightened it might derail your gravy train. It's all me, me, me, with your kind.
Answer a straight question with a straight answer for once, ***! How many different real people do you think read this forum?
Who knows Deacon! Thousands! Even more i suspect. You have control issues.....remember, this is our town as well, not just your money-box
Hmm, you see thst number in brackets? What do you think that represents?
What do you mean ny "my money box"? I work for a living at a computer software house. I pay income tax, national insurance, council tax, don't get winter fuel allowance, pay into a private pension. Oh, I have a company car - maybe that's what you mean. Even though I pay extra tax into the Treasuries coffers because of it.
Not sure what you mean ***. Please explain.
And Roy (I mean ***), you really are slipping. Please try to remember which user name to use when replying - it's embarrassing.
Putty in my hands.... Do you really think i would utilise just one website?? You would like to know so much more....it's what 'your kind' do...find out, vet, then manipulate. And when you can't control.....you lose control.
Hmmm, all the thousands of individuals who read this forum can't wait to read what you mean by "my kind". Come on, tell me what "my kind" is.
You see, yet again, you avoid answering direct questions. Is that because you have no answers - only whinges...?
Catching out delusional keyboard warriors is like shooting fish in a barrel. I've been doing this internet game for 12 years, mate, and you're just a newbie when it comes to forums like this.
Just this forum?! You really do struggle with words, don't you? Priceless drivel..... Do you do stand-up in one of your locals? You assume so much about me in your drive to fish for clues. Give up you amateur.
You really are an utterly inconsistent moron. I suspect you're an alchoholic - hence your projecting re. that sad subject. Your facade is crumbling around your ears, Roy (I mean ***).
You've already written (it's there in black & white, buddy) that "a thousand maybe more" different people view this forum. You wrote that less than an hour ago, for goodness sakes.
You're not all there are you buddy? I really pity you.
What do you mean by "my kind"? You've had how many opportunities to answer the question, yet you avoid it...
Trunk roads are the responsibility of the Secretary of State for Transport, unless detrunked.
All other roads are looked after by Devon County Council, unless it is a unitary authority, Plymouth, Torquay.
Facts we need on this forum, not bullshit!
There is a certain Joey Deacon who is full of it.
CRAP! CRAP! and more CRAP!
Is that right Viaduct/Anon/***. Care to point us in the direction of the "bullshit"?
I see that there have been thousands of views of this thread. People are REALLY interested in your so-called facts! Keep up the good work as it obviously makes a sifference to so many lives. NOT.
JD, You asked, "Care to point us in the direction of the "bullshit"?
And I answered by telling you where to look.
Couldn't respond to you any other way, pillock!
No one appears to be concerned about the price of oil.
$147 a barrel hiked the pump price to an average of £1.19 a litre.
Today Brent crude has dropped to $63 a barrel, where is the drop at the pumps?
