Approx 12 cameras are to be installed around the town at a cost of £70,000 taken from the proceeds of the sale of the Leonard Lamb Centre.

Locations include: The Lawn, Barton's Car Park, Tuck's Plot, Queen St, King St, High St, Brunswick Place, Lawn Terrace Car Park, The Strand, Marine Parade, Piermont Place and the station approach.

Strife will be no more once the council have CCTV installed around the town to monitor there citizens every move. You will obey the Dawlish Town Council 'Police State'

The arrogance of Dawlish Council is spectacular. They said they had conducted a survey of the populace which were in favour of the CCTV installation but couldnt find the figures to back it up. They commenced installation work without planning permission. Teignbridge DCC sent them a letter stating " we were disappointed that works had commenced prior to Landlord's consent being sought". A few Dawlish council members are also members of Teignbridge DCC.
At council meetings you can put questions to the council but they refuse to answer them, democracy DOES NOT EXIST WITHIN THAT COUNCIL.
