Money for the Youth Centre
Wasn't the money from the sale of the Leonard Lamb Centre supposed to be used towards funding the Youth Centre? And wasn't it then the case that the money (all or some of it) got used to finance roof repairs to the Manor House?
Well.......if the Manor House gets sold, as the town council is mooting it could be, why can't the proceeds be spent on funding the Youth Centre (minus the vocational training facility).
Penny - your thoughts are certainly worth more than 1p. Have you put this to any member of the council?
After £30,000 was upped to £150,000 for a yoof center.
Where did some of the remainder go?
CCTV,(£100,000) Shaftsbury Theatre (£30,000), Holcombe village hall (£30,000).
And how many people realize that £37,000 went to the estate agents just for selling the LL?
Abuse of public funds if you ask me?
I believe it was Stratton & Holborrow, but don't quote me on that.
I think if you go back into the minutes archive, which you cannot get on line (you will need to go to the Manor (home of the corrupt council)) you MAY...... get confirmation there.
