It’s unfortunate that the Christmas lights switch-on in Dawlish got cancelled due to the weather, but safety comes first. It’s great that the shops and Christmas Market will still offer entertainment, and hopefully the Lantern Parade rescheduled for Sunday will bring some festive cheer despite the setback.
