Look, as an outsider, Dawlish is not an up market town. That's partly the reason we keep returning. It is what it is, why try to change it? Its relaxed and easy & comfortable, a bit like an armchair. We don't bother anybody, and nobody bothers us when we visit, thats the way we like it. It has everything we need, (well,nearly everything.) Are these the ones on Marine Parade where the Great Cliff Hotel used to be? I looked at these on my last visit and saw that quite a few had been reserved. They looked quite small though? Not much depth to them. I did'nt dare inquire about the prices of them!! I noticed a 3 bedroomed semi in an Estate agents for 189k (I think) which was closer to my pocket!

To Jambar. (I'm from the guest book.) In my opinion you are a damn lucky fellow if you have the opportunity to re-locate to Dawlish/South Devon.My advice to you is just do it! I live in a crap southern town and my wife and I would love to move to Dawlish but finances and work prevent this at the moment.
