@Michael Clayson With all due respect could I just ask why you are obsessed with the town centre and in particular development of the lawn. Having seen over £1.75 million spent recently on the Strand side with no noticable change to any of the businesses or any increase in visitor numbers. Is it not time to look further a field around and about Dawlish for sites needing investment and ...

@Robert Vickery How about resignations from the council members forming the support group now then, would seem the right and honorable thing to do. Also commenting that over 300 objections do not constitute a valid reason for withdrawing the planning application just about sums up the thoughts of those whom sit on the planning committee at Teignbridge. Which is why Dawlish is rapidly ...

Funny there in exactly the same place as the fun fair hoopla stalls were last week crop circles ???? Sorry to spoil the conspiracy

The sharks are still out there ready to bite at any minute, best beware. Dawlish.com the long awaited sequel to JAWS

Its long overdue. This islamic terrorist threat needs to be dealt with once and for all and that applies in this country also.  Our government needs to stop giving justification excuses and take note of what are the clear intentions of these fanatical groups running riot across the middle east.

The new timber framed houses are a total rip off and not worth a fraction of the asking price. In ten to fifteen years time Cranbrook will be the sort of 60s slum council estate the authorities up north have been demolishing in the recent past. If you cannot get the standard 10 year NHBC warranty on a new property then you should automatically suspect there to be something not right. Go into ...

Mcjrpc I make no bones about how I see the town centre, basically its a dump and as proven by the recent alterations throwing vast amounts of money at it isent the answer. Unless the private landlords come together as one and decide on a way to improve things then we are all wasting our time. The sea front is dominated and controlled by the railway therefore any alteration is out of local ...

@michaelclayson If you are intending revising the bid why not relocate it to a less sensitive location i.e. the Warren. The advantages are clear to see. Ample car parking, toilets, more space, more holiday traffic, less objection to noise. Why has it always got to be about the town centre and its out dated shopping offer. I bet if you built some more wood hut shops alongside the woodlice ...

@Robert Vickery Why are you still going on about your folly, its over the money isent forthcoming, and you and your mate Clayson have lost the town as Burnside has quoted in excess of £23,000. Its time you both now did the decent thing and resigned. Take a close look at the objections to your planning application, and to the numerous letters of objection in the local press and bow out ...

The Lawn

The Police these days are not interested in petty public order crime no matter how disturbing to decent law abiding citizens it may be. Their role these days is to sit on motorway accesses and industrial estates waiting for an oppertunity to collect secondary government stealth tax and to assist VOSA and other independant government departments to do the same. It is almost certain they have to ...
