Dear David Your ruffled response is to be expected, as is your crude attempt at public relations, in the vain hope you can paper over the cracks of duplicity. It highlights the inherent arrogance, of both, you and many members of Roundtable/Rotary. I think you will find that my knowledge and understanding of the actual workings of the above mentioned organisations makes me well-informed; ...

Organised to line the coffers of Roundtable and Rotary, creaming off their usual 40 per cent (for admin?)....all in the name of charity. No surprise to find a Protheroe involved..... anything to further the empire and feed the ego. Myself and my family had the misfortune to see this drivel. Never again! Let him stick to selling chips and burgers to holidaymakers. PS-On a different note, how can ...

Can anyone explain why Dawlish Warren has such a tacky reputation? With such a beautiful area, why is it spoilt with so many tacky pubs and camps? As somebody explained on an earlier thread, "it's certainly not upmarket". It seems the Warren is a prime example of the junk culture that is spreading throughout this country of ours. Not that the owners of these places care ......as long as they ...

What do we need a Mayor for? Surely this is the most impotent and useless badges of office known to man. Isn't it about time this relic of a bygone age was abandoned to the annals of history? I see it is this chap Protheroe again....no doubt using the chain to network for the purpose of feathering his own nest; all under the premise of council business. Let's bring this redundant nonsense into ...

i doubt the new Mayoress will be any different as she has been trawled from the same pool of 'inner circle' back-slappers(so much for true democracy heh?!). Ex Mayor Prowse passed me in the street the other day, with her usual pretentious demeanour. At first, i thought the spring blossom was stronger than normal, then quickly surmised that it was her over-powering perfume. It was enough to stun a ...

Dull cover-bands for dull Roundtable/Rotary Club types. The people get what they deserve....
