How is it fair that anyone has to pay a 50% tax rate? Fundamentally unjust and has now been rectified a little. Really everyone should pay the same tax rate. Our problem isn't tax payers it is the people that choose to be on the dole.
Seems Marine Garage has added 3p to their fuel prices even though the rise doesn't happen until August.
Because some people perfer just to claim unemployment benefit than work.
Yeah good point. What if they did useful tasks that no one else does? Such as picking up rubbish from the beaches.
Should able bodied unemployed people do some community service each week to be eligible for unemployment benefit?
There is just a poster in the window which says 'part time staff required. Apply within'. So best to go down there suited and booted. Good luck!

Get rid of child benefit. Reduce the tax people pay. With the extra money parents/guardians can spend it on their own children. Far fairer on everyone.
If the shops are be allowed to open 24/7 it does not mean they have to. I don't see any reason to restrict any shop's trading hours. If you don't want to shop then don't shop. If you don't want to open then don't open. All very simple.
Shops should not be prevented from opening on Sundays.
