Thanks @Sbooty , that's great. I'll go along one day, as I could do with losing a few ounces pounds stone.
Why all the fuss? We all know Teignbridge District Council couldn't orangise a party in a brewery. Just continue displaying your flags as you were.
Has anyone used the new facilities at the the leisure centre? Does it have free weights and weights machines?
Channel 4, Bedlam - http://www.channel4.com/programmes/bedlam/episode-guide A very interesting documentary, during last night's episode (episode 2) one of the experts said that the modern drugs keep most patients calm. Which implies many thousands of people would be held in mental health hospitals if it wasn't for the modern drugs. @Mcjrpc , you are spot on!
OK, well that is a good idea.
http://archiver.rootsweb.ancestry.com/th/read/DEVON/2007-08/1186148544 Why were there so many mental hospitals nearby?
All true, India should spend it's own money helping the poor but they don't seem to do so. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/9666249/Britains-280-million-aid-to-India-will-be-scrapped.html So aid to India is being stopped in 2015, but the money will be deverted to other poorer countries. We can't just keep the money since we have to stick to the 0.7% of gdp target for aid. ...
Perhaps the aid is only to be used for certain causes such as poverty.
@HuwMatthews2 , 100% true.
The leaking of secret state information has endangered the lives of people that work for the security services. People that put their own lives at risk on a daily basis to protect us. For many decades people have risks their own safety and sometimes paid the ultimate price for the safety of us all. Anyone who thinks Edward Snowden is a hero should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves.
