Every company is there to make money, it's not a service it's a business.  They want your money and as much as they can get, same as all the rest. You should be used to it by now, it's been like that for 20 years.

I am sorry I may be going against the grain here but I wouldn't dream of going through someones bank statements to get details for them.  And then to ring them as well just seems to me to be incredibly nosy. If you felt something should be done then report it as fly tipping. To get a phone call out of the blue saying "I have you bank details with statements" would have taken me out of my comfort ...

Been up to the new country park a few times now. Only a couple of dog poo bags seen, so that's good.  Will get even better as the whole place matures a bit too.   And I am sure I caught a couple at it by the woods as well, but I wasn't really paying attention to them until they jumped up!

Shame it was so wet, it put me off going on Sunday.

I get 2 of these everyday in my garden, even got one to feed out of my hand once, am I right in thinking they only live 2 years, if so, we may not get them next year.

It was expected, I fall into this group. I am not that bothered. It will probably be 70 by the time I am 68 anyway lol

Monty, sorry bud I have seen it with my own eyes, people do give them money.

I work for a professional firework firm, ( yes it's a busy time of year!) And we have our own public liability insurance etc, so putting on a professional display shouldn't be much of an insurance issue for the council. I appreciate there may be other considerations and insurance policies to be paid for at staging any event, but the actual display itself wouldn't be an issue.  maybe it's a lack of ...
