@roberta , yep good point. also don't need so many members of parliament. however the government is right to reduce the benefit culture that is so wrong.

instead of just ckicking 'agree' on @roberta silly comment, how about posting a sensible response? The majority of people support the benefits system changes. http://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/435918/Majority-support-benefits-cuts-saying-find-a-job-or-work-harder

There are severe problems with the UK's benefits system as Channel 4's programme 'Benefit Street' clearly showed. Many of the people on that street were capable of work but had absolutely no intention of working. This is simply wrong and unfair on others working and paying high taxes. A simple comparsion between the UK and China shows why we have such a budget problem. Here people don't need to ...

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/politics/david-cameron/10647538/Cutting-benefits-part-of-a-moral-mission-Cameron-tells-new-Cardinal.html David Cameron is absolutely right to reduce the benefit dependency culture that the Labour Party have created.

I agree, the customer service is awful there. They always keep you waiting for ages to get served and it is frustrating and irritating. If the railway was re-routed in land, Dawlish would be in serious difficulties. We can't even afford to run a few public toilets. However it will never be re-routed. @Carer , I totally agree with your sidmouth style defences idea. That is the only answer. Image source: http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1010491

No Trains.

There are supposed to be rail replacement buses, however they are very few and far between. Best not to chance it anyway as you could get stuck.

BENIFITS THE FACTS

Not sure what your point is, but I'm all for helping people in genuine need. What I can't stand is the people who choose not to work and also are not able to support themselves. It doesn't matter if it costs the tax payer £10B or £1 it is still wrong.

Aid to Syria

Yep I can't stand the tax payers money going on people who choose not to work. As for aid for people being persecuted, we should do as much as we can.
