Teignmouth has 2 suitable large supermarkets only 3miles away all I was trying to point out is that Sainsburys has killed the town, which has no large units apart from Coop, whether I agree with it or not. We did seem to manage before they arrived. When i go on holiday the last thing on my mind is where the nearest supermarket is, as long as there is a general store nearby for neccessities , ...

Annother46 you have given your opinion which you are entitled to, TDC have cleared the site and nobody will know if they didnt bill the leaseholders for this work. Everyday TDC has to clear up behind other people who leave their rubbish everywhere, get over it and move on.

I dont think people hate people who have a business in Dawlish, its just that business people do not provide what people want. Dawlish is a victim of its own making, by allowing Sainsburys in with ease of parking and everything in one place. Revamping the Strand and cutting the parking down.
