Rumour perhaps but have just been informed that it is highly unlikely that trains will be running what we know as a normal service on Friday. It seems only one of the two tracks will actually be serviceable and that there will only be a token movement of trains. Anyone know different.
Probably not but the first attempt would make an excellent Epic Fail video for posting on Youtube. Suggest we try it with one of Richard Bransons Virgin Voyager trains.
Sure thing we could make it a tripple header Cats, Badgers, Pheasants. Need to get posh Mr Cameroons permission first though.
@Andysport Good response and typical of the totally selfish attitude you and the others like you employ. What about the contribution to the ecconomy made by all the car users and owners and the fuel duty already paid. How is that shortfall going to be made up. Not by cyclists who pay naff all to use the roads or paths. TDC alone made £4.5 million last year on car parking. We have spent ...
TB in cats - cool - Im signing up for the cull now. Dogs rule lol
Margret. I get your point, but dont forget the main issues here the guys from all over the country in the orange suits have done the real work. No doubt people will say they have been well paid for doing it and I agree. Remember this though if successive governments and councils had provided Network Rail and the maintainance companies with the money and resources needed to upkeep the safety and ...
@ MrsC Now Im getting as confused as yourself what lorry are we on about. The one I bully the lycra loonies onto the cycle path with.
@Clive Nice idea but I dont think Network Rail have repaired the actual see wall yet have they. Think they have only concreted the missing bits of the railway balast retaining parapet. Can anyone advise if the sea front will be clear and open for next Friday info seems a bit scarce at the moment. Rumour has it big Dave the snotty leader of the ConDems will be dropping in to perform the grand ...
Its about priorities nothing else, you all know how many cuts the county has and is about to face yet you support this absolute waste of money on a minority folly that is likely to have limited use. Great thinking close down the leisure centres we all use but build a cycle path for the few. It wouldnt be so bad if the trail kept the lycra loonies off the road but it dosent Funny how everytime ...
Another joke from DCC one minute their closing childrens homes, taking about having to move out of their offices, moaning about having to find £750 million to mend the roads. Then he ho £1.6 million pops up from somewhere to build yet another bloody cycle path. Something seriously needs to be done about these idiots they live in the dark ages
