Can't wait to next april to see this reduction on council tax. ! £90k spend alledgely on upgrades to manor house but cant afford £2k for newhay. ...

Syed Jusef "advising " Devon and Cornwall police on hate crime. Next we require a woman advising the police on rape, a jewish person advising the police on anti-semitism et al.  If the police need "advising" on these issues then we are in real trouble. Who writes this guff in the dawlish news or is it just cut and pasted from dawson and jusef.

Instead of pledging to celebrate local  communities fix some of the issues in dawlish instead

One of the wooden spars on the bridge has broken and a couple of cones placed to warn the public so the debate is : A) will the council take over 3 years to do something like reinstate the other previous bridge crossing that was removed.? Or B) will Rosie raise a petition to get it fixed. Remember folks its your votes that count....

Lets have a look at the green party leaflet regarding Scott Williams It stars off with the phrase "hard working" slightly different from lib dems "working hard" but basically the same bland phrase as if other councillors are not working hard. £4.7 million spent on decarbonisation projects and its taken 3years to get to this stage as council would not part with money but rather waste it on grandoise schemes e.g cameras in toilets, solar panels, £90,000 alledgely spent on painting and doing up the manor . Dont hold your breath on this one based on lib dems past history.

Bet lib dems are glad theres no voting in this area till next year.

For over 80yrs people in Weymouth have used pontoons in the sea with never any problems, now the Lib Dem run council have banned there use citing the famous excuse "health and safety".

Lets look at the lib dem campaign sheet in more detail . Continuing his campaign to fix cliffs at dawlish - getting nowhere as goverment will not release funds but a good statement for the masses. Come on boo hoo, give them credit, there still investigating who pooed on the playpark, who may have kicked  a swan when it went for his dog, who burnt down the community buses, the clamp down on ebikes  etc etc, you dont expect them to do everything by 5pm close of play at night

As said before these gulls need to be culled, far too many but dawlish council will have concerns about swan and dog issue but not interested in keeing all cygnets safe from these predators...

Nightmare as lorries and trucks diverted up back roads. Why no traffic lighr process on exeter road.The council person in charge of roads/planning should be sacked for incompetence. Again not a peep from Dawlish or Teignmouth councils about this.
