the youth of dawlish are not scum. its people like yourself who think that. i personally think old people are a nusense in dawlish with there scooters more than youngsters but old people are dawlish and so are tourists and theres nothing you can do about it. why do people hate youth? why not help them in some way instead of whine.

air show was good missed part of it as stayed at home with my newborn, dont think she would of liked the noise too much. was it me or was there only 8 red arrows and not the usual 9? anyone know reason why?
hi i moved from essex to dawlish 10 years ago this xmas, i havent looked back the locals are friendly etc. the quiet part of town is up by the doctors and hospital barton crescent, terrace and villas etc. that end of town. your further enough away when tourists flock in in there thousands and close enough to walk to town and take a nice walk beside the brook. keep fit classes happen in the manor ...
we holidayed there for 10 years before we moved here in 1998, lovely place friendly faces and always made to feel welcome
i agree with anon, why cant we change carnival a bit its boring, ok not get rid of the red arrows as they draw in loads of people but something else, im fed up of the same boring things. why has teignmouth got better and dawlish got worse? even the procession seems to be getting smaller every year
thank you common sense was nice to know your bit and that i agree with you, only because one word got put in the everyone kicks off.
sounds like a fab course, any ideas when you will be running it again as i will ve 8 and half months pregnant by then and i can just about waddle down the road let alone do self defence etc. jirving1985@hotmail.com
if you have a car, you can go trekking across dartmoor thats nice in the summer, or you have bicton biotanical gardens in buckfastleigh if thats your sort of thing.
sorry Parent i didnt mean to cause offence, its just i have been heavily involved to but in the other side of things leases etc. just frustrates me how some parents will complain and not do anything
Dawlish is a lovely place, ive been here 10 years now and i still say that. it hasnt got all he ameities like exeter or plymouth but we have public transpot that is easy assessable and we have a main road that leads to paces etc. the only grumble i have about dawlish is that when tourists come down they have no disregard from the locals and leave there rubbish everywhere, fair enough its only a ...
yeah im happy with that its about time we start promoting dawlish produce more instead of everyne elses
im not saying they didnt fight too im jut sayin its the youth of day that are doing it now
ban bloody seagulls cant they be culled!!! ok air enough people arent happy with the council, i dont see them that bad. ok ive had a few issues with them but at the end of the day its all bloody polotics
i agree with tourist dawlish is a tourist town and always will be, if we stop them coming dawlish will no longer exsist and have all empty shops and look like a poo hole
about time too, why should there be free parking in dawlish? we have to amek some money somewhere. i feel people who drive there car down town are damn right lazy, ok if you have a disability fair enough but coz you cant be arsed doest count. where are the trafic wardens??
well fair enough well said. if only i could let it go, see i am an upstanding member of this town who cares about the youth of dawlish coz if people like me dont then nothing gets done.
i agree why should they get as much as that, nurses, doctors and fire people need that as they are risking there lifes every day for the sake of ours.
bloody churc goers, no offence but they clog up the roads near me near st gregs and its dangerous im surprised a fire engne or ambulance avent had a nasty smack down there. i know theres no yellow lines there should be. and i agree where are these new traffic wardens as park road is becoming a nightmare and dangerous
my son is 3 and im not out to disclose my name as im not having people judge me
you can also get things called plus buses with a train ticket too, sometimes these cost from £1.30 - £2.50 extra on top of your train fare but say you wanted to go to the zoo from paignton bus station it would cost you more than that. also you can go from paigton to brixham on a plus bus. i use mine to go to the rd&e when i need to go there as there are frequent buses that go from the train ...
Thanks Resident - ill be ready by then. so watch this space for councillor mouse!
it was in the papers enough times and posters around dawlish town, you obviously wasnt looking. doesnt matter now as the group has dispersed.
does anyone actually want tescos in dawlish? or anything else for that matter or would decent transport links be a better option?
then perhaps rowlands fair shouldnt come for so long, all they do is seem to do is wreck the lawn anyways. thats ony my opinion! be nice to have something different
