THERE was a good attendance for the Dawlish Indoor Bowls Finals last weekend, writes Peter Hayes. On Saturday, the Ladies’ Singles and Men’s Singles finals took place. The ladies’ final was a family affair as Jean Pitts faced sister Dawn Konetsky.
A TEIGNBRIDGE fire station is looking for new places to conduct its training nights. Dawlish Fire Station is on the lookout for spaces it can use for training scenarios - industrial buildings, vacant homes, basements, farm buildings and so on.
