I'm not trying to fool anyone Burneside. And everyone's allowed to break their diet now and again, aren't they? x
Your cynicism re S106 was clearly misplaced Lynne.
Why does doing one thing and then saying another make him sensible?
I did laugh at his advert in today's Gazette. So he's going to continue to campaign for green spaces. Especially for the field next to the big fat home that he lives in... I bet his UKIP friends don't like brownfield sites...
So do you not think that those improvements are going to benefit Dawlish residents who work in Exeter and travel there by road? Despite you not mentioning it, I assume that you're pleased about the percentage of affordable homes included? Not everyone is lucky enough to be able to move to Dawlish and pay top whack in the expensive part of town... If you think that £172K can't be spent on ...
And over £1.25m towards local facilities too
Well done to all concerned with our beaches retaining these awards.
Really pleased to read that the preferred option is to place all local Minor Injury Units at Dawlish Hospital. Of course the likes of David Cox are whining about the consultation being unfair, but then losers like him usually do.
And about time too. it's great to see such a high percentage of affordable homes in that first phase as well.
Why would someone who stood for Dawlish Town Council as a nailed-to-the-mast Lib Dem, then state that politics should be kept out of that level of democracy? If Gary Taylor truly believed that, as per his letter in the Gazette, then why didn't he stand for the Town Council as an Independent candidate?
