That's over £675,000 more than the current owners paid for the property just 14 years ago. I'm sure that there's little need to feel sorry for the owners...

The market held in the field on Mount Pleasant Road has been going on for far longer than the Thursday carboot, and isn't the signage the same as that for the Warren Road and Exmouth carboots? It's the consistent signage that made me think that they're run by the same organisation.

Aren't the two car boots organised by the same people? Both of them are poorly attended outside of the school holidays though.

Had a wander during the weekend around the new developments that have sprung up around the Secmation Lane area.  I don't understand why some people think that there isn't the demand for housing in Dawlish - judging by the number of properties there that are occupied / sold / reserved, it's no wonder that farmers are selling their land to developers.  And yes, it does appear to be a healthy mix of ...

The young ladies down there are doing a great job - I'm so pleased that we've got a decent cafe down there again.

But there was no local choice of petrol stations for a long time before the arrival of Sainsbury. We just had MG and their rip-off prices. Sainsbury won't put up prices now that MG are off - that makes no sense seeing as they've always charged less than MG anyway!

I think that it had been confirmed that the SANGS provision had to be in place before the first home was occupied? Not when the first sod was cut. I find it utterly despicable, though totally typical of him, that FredBassett believes that the only people who need affordable homes are problem families or hardworking legal immigrants.  Plenty of people who don't have derogatory labels ...

Totally agree with Carer and Leatash. The scare stories that do the rounds every now and again re supermarket fuel have little to no basis in fact to them.
