Well I have a postal vote and I've already voted - so the goods news with that is that I can skip all the endless stuff about it on the radio, TV and newspapers and just get on. Job done.
Well it was nice to see that the temporary lights by the wall at Lanherne have now been taken away. And a few days earlier than their previous estimate.
So going back to my previous post on the subject of catering - Lynne you now have the information you wanted. To what purpose exactly? What was the point? Does it change anything about the weekend or the arrangements for the weekend? Does it make any difference whatsoever? I still don't get the point?! And please don't answer it with a blah blah tax payers money, blah blah whatever. ...
Well said Dil
Ok, sorry to be a bit thick here, but say you get this information, it is highly unlikely that you will get it any time soon and it will probably be long after the event is over. So what exactly are you going to then do with that information? There seems to be a bit of an obsession with the food stands at the event. If it is the BBC who are answering the questions then surely it is the BBC ...
If you can't stop on the main road, what's to stop you driving down a side street and stopping there to pick up or drop off? You'd have to liaise by phone to make it a quick thing I expect but surely that would be possible, even if it meant picking up somewhere in Starcross. Little bit of a walk wouldn't hurt!

There is a good community spirit in both towns although they do have slightly different feels to them. I would say look at both with househunting, that's what we've always done and there are some lovely and unexpected ...
Well you never know, this might be a crafty plan to make sure the whole area is awash with traffic wardens (or whatever they are called these days) who will ticket as many wrongly parked vehicles as they can, which will end up making the council a HUGE profit on their investment of £100,000 So then will the profit be seen as a good thing or a bad thing!?
They truly are that idiotic. Huge queues towards Exeter this morning and huge queues from Exeter this evening. It's been like this all week. No-one seems to have any sense when it comes to simple things like this.
In fairness to the media and Radio 1 if they advertised it as Teignbridge then far fewer people would know where that was compared to advertising it as Exeter. As as for the free tickets, I wonder how many councillors used freebie tickets from the MUSE concert in Teignmouth in 2009. I do agree they shouldn't be given them for this though. In fact unless they are at an event as a direct ...
