POLICE in Teignmouth and Dawlish have thanked local people for providing them with teddy bears for their patrol vehicles. They are used to help calm adults and children that have faced traumatic experiences. The girl, who is possibly around 6-years old, knocked on a door claiming she was 'lost' before running away Police also confirmed that a police helicopter was involved in the search for the girl.
