A parking ticket was issued to motorists every four seconds last year, it emerged today. There were eight million handed out with councils raking in £270 million in fines. The figures, revealed under the Freedom of Information Act, show that the most number of tickets were slapped on car windscreens in Greater London.
Leatash, It must be great to be perfect. There have been instances whereby funeral cars, ambulances and even the police on urgent calls have been booked then waste public money getting them cancelled, also many cases where fines have been issued illegaly becase the signs do not conform to legislation. But never mind they are only mistakes and its best to pay them, dont you think??
