It is closed because their generater broke, and despite paying a lot for a local business to repair it, it remains broken. The owners are losing a lot of money as you can imagine. There are also problems with leaking water. This is dangerous around electrics. Lets hope they can get it fixed. A lot of people miss the cafe.

As an ex police officer and a cyclist you should know better. I am struggling to understand your comment about cyclists putting other road users at risk; those at risk are the cyclists by the way in which vehicles of all types treat them. Further as a cyclist - incidentally what exactly does that mean - you should better understand the problems cyclists face not simply on a daily basis but ...

Thanks Lynne. My understanding is that it's owned by Network Rail. Hopefully it's only a temporary closure and that new leaseholders are found soon in order to give it the rejuvenation that it's in desperate need of.

Unfortunately, Scapegoat, Trump now seems to be 'the man' for an increasing number of Americans who are either blind to his shortcomings or attracted to his egotistic and agressive isolationist vision. Trump's hand on the nuclear trigger? Look on the bright side, at least if it kicks off we won't have been put to the expense of renewing Trident...
