If you look at my post I said that new trade deals may carry with them a clause allowing movement of people into this country not that any new trade deals would have to do so.

After seven years of tortuous negotiation the EU has just concluded a trade agreement with Canada, with no freedom of movement provision included.  Once out of the EU we will be at liberty to do the same. Just sayin...

Since the referendum we have been told many times that it was only advisory, legally this seems to be correct, which then begs the question why did the government put the following statement on its propaganda leaflet: This is your decision. The Government will implement what you decide. Just sayin...

Anybody else catch one Nigel Farage on the tv this morning concede that the referendum was of an advisory nature only ? Just sayin...........

I was in Bastins on Friday and staff said the is shop closing, plus others owned by Bastins. Sorry to see it go.

Today (6th November 2016) women born 6th May 1953 - 5th June 1953 will reach their state pension age. Compare that to the case of women born but only twelve months later, between 6th May 1954 and 5th June 1954, who will not become eligible for their state pension until 6th January 2020.

I have been informed today, in a letter from The  Trutees of The Snooky Trust that they will be winding their operation down at Christmas. I will be lookng for another charity, preferably local,  to support  from the sale of my books,  "In the  Roots" and "Visitors".  I have   two  more being published soon.  All suggestions  will be considerd.
