I use the re-cycling bins off Exeter road, on the path to Coastguard Cottages, and noticed today that most of the bins on this site have been padlocked, does anyone know why??

Pedestrianisation will kill the Strand, to compare The Strand with a town centre which has National Stores in the pedestrian areas is ludicrous. Wordonthestreet is quite right about Walmart, they are opposed by Unions all over the world due to their treatment of staff and the way they treat suppliers. Yet they have become the worlds biggest retailer. Let's be honest, the majority of people shop where it is most convenient to do so.
