I understand life expectancy for men is lower.  One out, one in...

Thank you for the information Michael.  As with Flo's post about the Leisure Centre, it's good to know there's been communication.

The window is open and I could have sworn I saw the light on but after Pete's post I thought I was mistaken.  Michael's right about not speculating but since the masonry fell it isn't just about aesthetics and surely it's time for the council to investigate.

Yes, if you want to live in your own slum, fine, but having others live there isn't.   The masonry has gone now but you should take a look at the side and rear flat roof (even after the alley has been cleared).  It's disgusting!   Maybe one of our Councillors will look into it.  Michael? You always seem very helpful...

@Carer .   Actually I don't share your fear.  I only have to read the local paper to feel more in danger from those already at liberty than from a homicidal axe wielding maniac on the run from Langdon chancing upon me. Out of interest have there been incidents in Dawlish involving a Langdon patient?

Carer/Fred - it's a mental health unit not a prison, surely that means there are elements to their personalities that are beyond their control?  Is it right to judge all mental health sufferers on their actions alone?

Fannyann - given that you worked there, are you saying it's possible that the high risk patients have absconded? How long ago did you work there and is the security so bad that we should be worried?

Thanks very much Stephen15 but I used an iPhone.  Thought there might be a way on the site like we can use bold, underline, italics etc.   Have noticed it on other posts from time to time, maybe it's a compatibility thing.

Anyone know how to change the font size on here? I just backspaced on my last post and it shrank all the text.  Couldn't for the life of me edit it back to how it was.    Thanks.

If they're prepared to let the property get into that state, imagine their ovens,
