Passengers on the main railway line into Devon and Cornwall were delayed yesterday after a landslip on a notorious section of the line near Dawlish . A DAWLISH charity has thanked a resident who created pin badges for the organisation to sell to boost its finances. A Ukrainian refugee schoolgirl found unconscious on a Devon beach may have “lost” the edge of a sea wall in the dark before falling to her death, an inquest heard. DAWLISH Coasters held their Dawlish Dash, a 4-mile multi-terrain race including a sandy beach, groins to clamber over, steps, u-turns, and tarmac sections both rough and smooth. A DRIVER was rescued from an overturned car in Dawlish by passers by. The accident happened on Sunday afternoon on the A379 on Teignmouth Hill near Westcliff Drive. A RARE Chilean plant has come into flower in Dawlish. More commonly found on arid hillsides in the Andes, this one lives in the Badlake Close garden of Derek Bryant and his wife Jackie.
