THIEVES have broken into several cars and vans in Dawlish. Work vans were particularly targeted with tools left inside stolen. Reports have come in from across the town last night and into the early hours.
HALDON Trail Runners chair Anthea Board won her age category in a race for the third week in a row on Sunday. Fresh from her success at the muddy 13-mile Oh My Obelisk race in Dawlish and flat First Chance 10k in Exeter, she also took the FV60 honours in the rearranged Budleigh Blister race on January 19.
Dawlish will host another evening of music, comedy and nostalgia in March following the success of a sold-out show in 2023. MPs have called for urgent reform of railway services in the South West. Mr Wrigley set the tone by recalling the infamous Dawlish storm of 2014, which devastated railway infrastructure and cost the regional economy an estimated £1.2 billion.
