The main road in Dawlish running adjacent to the lawn and opposite the Brunswick.

Funnily enough, my post wasn't about Bob, but Poet's endorsement of a close-to-the-knuckle vanity publishing company.

You do realise the competition you're endorsing is a thinly veiled self publishing venture? I worked for a similar company and all entries (no matter the quality) are published in different anthologies, and if you want to see your work in print you need to buy the book. Yes, you could win something, but it'll have to be a hell of a lot better than Bob's poem. Out of the 10s of thousands of entries ...

The complaint is not that it was small, but it looked nothing like advertised. If you went by the pamphlet it should have covered the Lawn, not be hidden by the Bandstand. As I said in a previous posting, my kids enjoyed it. I was disappointed as I was looking forward to having a go, but it would have been like me swimming in a paddling pool rather than a swimming pool.

Not exactly what was on the leaflet was it? But enjoyed watching my kids on it and they were given more time than allocated, so good value in the end.

I'm a 5'6 big busted blonde lady. Or am I 5'2 brunette? Could be a 6' bloke with a beer gut. Can't remember what personality I'm using today...

Fair enough Olive, as I said wasn't pointing fingers. Just your posts and some others are in a different style to the rest. Maybe it's just the way the website loads on my laptop?

Firstly, I'm not pointing fingers, I'm just wondering why some postings by Olive, Annon, Anon and some others are in the same style of short sentences. Are the posts the same person, or just something up with the website?

Why do I get the feeling that this thread exists just to massage an already over inflated ego?

Don't need a joke's page, some of the threads have me in stitches as it is!
