Maybe so but the rest of the highway robbers have still to add their cut e.g Teignbridge council, Devon county council etc, got to keep the local MP in 3 jobs, how he can afford to do that and represent the ward at parliment is beyond me , must be easy as an MP regarding free time,. How about having a police officer who actually walked a beat around Dawlish and got to know what is actually going on. Rather than wasting time talking to the town councillors who seem rather remote from the issues many people are having in Dawlish, in my opinion.
