DAWLISH Coaster Laraine Gibbins took part in the Sportiva Torbay Sprint triathlon last weekend and finished in a time of 1:34:39. The event included a 750m sea swim, followed by a 20k bike ride, then a 5k run.
A TWELVE-year-old boy has been taken to hospital following a road collision in Dawlish. The boy sustained serious injuries and was taken to Bristol Children’s Hospital after the incident, which took place on July 1.
DAWLISH Women’s Walking Football Club is going from strength to strength. Following on from their successful progression into league and tournament football, including a runners-up trophy at EuroCopa 2024 in Portugal earlier this year, the club are keen to invite more women to play the sport.
