I've just seen someone on Spotlight News moaning about the planned updated shopping centre in Newton Abbot. Did he make me think of the moaning Dawlish stereotype or what? I'm sure it's available on iPlayer for those who know how to access 21st century technology.
Of course they're entitled to their opinion - but have you read those comments? Crazy!
I see that someone has posted on Eyes Of Dawlish about objecting to this plan!!! And then you read the comments below the post and realise just how ignorant people are.
Majorp - who told you that the countryside park was a good place to dispose of old cars? And would you rather DCC leave fly-tipping where it is or collect it ASAP (even though they don't have to)?
Loads of two-legged and four-legged visitors had a great time yesterday at the official opening. And from what I understand, the feedback was very positive and enthusiastic - which is often the case when I speak with many people from Dawlish who have a healthily positive outlook to life.
