I remember when a local farmer used to clear the brook with a digger and tractor and trailer, the gravel was then tipped on the beach and the tide took care of it. I also remember that every part of the brook was full of fish some where at least three or four pounds and as a very keen fly fisherman i would watch them for ages very interesting trout behaviour.
In todays gazette quotes from wriggley " the sones and rocks washed down may be contaminated,.????? With what you may ask and " we have to protect the fish stocks" in the same article it mentions the low stock of trout, why do you think the cause of this could be???
