thankyou for posting this. I have been away 7 weeks so missed all of this & I love the swans, cygets, ducks & geese & love to see them in our town.. Sad that a cygnet dies - they are adorable. I think it was also quite a challenging time of year for it to be born - so maybe not totally unexpected. and it was so soon after the mother had her previous cygnets.
