A TEAM of volunteers dedicated to clearing up the Brook in Dawlish has been officially launched. WADE - Waterways Around the Dawlish Environment - was set up in response to concerns over the state of the town’s waterway.

POLICE are seeking the public’s help identifying two men following a spate of criminal damage to motor vehicles in Devon, including an incident in Dawlish. It was reported that vehicles listed for sale were being identified online, test driven and while the owner was distracted, deliberately damaged to get the vehicle at a cheaper price, police say.

Officers are warning people selling their cars of incidents where would-be buyers are deliberately damaging vehicles in an attempt to get the price reduced. One of the incidents is reported to have happened in Dawlish.
