Wish they would outline the case for getting potholes fixed grass verges cut etc and all the local things that we pay our council tax for. Devon county council have mismanaged the budget by millions of pounds so this is a good side show to take the pressure off.

They blame 'crazy' new safety measures which made the road narrower Huge traffic jams built up and people got out of their vehicles to watch the drama. Network Rail has apologised to the public as the Colonnade underpass at Dawlish is about to close for up to 12 weeks at the height of the summer holiday season from next Monday June 13.
