A mentally ill son was in the grip of drug-fuelled delusions when he stabbed his mother in a frenzied attack in their home. Dillon Leader, 18, knifed, strangled and pinned down his mum during a prolonged assault, a court heard. Doctors have assessed his mental health and diagnosed him as suffering from paranoid schizophrenia. He has been responding to treatment at Langdon Hospital in Dawlish. ...
